Vins de Pays des Côtes de Thongue, Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceA fresh 60/40 blend of merlot and cabernet sauvignon that opens with a bright acidity. The attack is similar with earthy forest floor and red fruit characters. Still a bit youthful and tight, the finish is medium-long. Domaine de l’Arjolle is situated in the north of the Côtes du Thongue appellation in southern central Hérault, about mid-Languedoc-Roussillon. It’s run by Teisserenc family and the vineyards are anywhere from 20 to 30-years-old.
