Calera Viognier 2013
Central Coast, California, United StatesRipe, round and warm, feeling every bit (and more) of its 14.5 degrees alcohol. Whole cluster, native fermented, this spent seven months in French oak barrels before bottling. Apricot jam, peach butter on the voluptuous palate, one somehow still watery in the middle. The finish is brief, with butterscotch notes. Not shy, and I wish it were more so.Tasted: 05 December 2017Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:BC | $45.00 | 750ml | private wine shops |
