Catalunya (Catalonia Cataluña), SpainThe latest Torres Coronas Tempranillo is refreshingly clean and the winemaking is simple: ageing in American and French oak for 12 months. The attack is round and soft, the red and black fruit richer than you might expect but with a fair bit of acidity to keep it elevated through the finish. A warm, elegant, ready-to-drink, mid-week red.
