Sperling Vineyards Brut Reserve 2011
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom BC’s oldest heritage vineyard, first planted to table grapes in the 1930s, and home of organic and biodynamic winegrower Ann Sperling, this pinot noir and chardonnay bubble is an all traditional method. It gets 36 months of aging on the lees in bottle, giving it a leg up on most of the competition. The result is a sophisticated sparkler packed full of ripe, red apple fruit tempered by creamy lees and an intriguing brioche note with a touch of savoury butter and honey. Good now, but will be even better in a couple more years.Tasted: 03 October 2017Tasted by: Prices:BC | $50.00 | 750ml | winery direct, private wine shops |
