Sperling Vineyards Brut Reserve 2011

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis pinot noir and chardonnay comes from the site of BC's oldest vineyard, first planted to vinifera in the 1930's. This is the home site of the Sperling family, and vintner Ann Sperling's organic and biodynamic vines. This traditional method fizz has spent 36 months on the lees, followed by time in the bottle, making the 2011 the current release, lucky for us. This impressive sparkling is sheared stone, red apple and red pear, with riffing acidity that drives this toasty, creamy wine forward and lifts it skyward. Fruity and elegant, with that potent hum of acidity, this will continue to evolve over the next few years.Tasted: 01 December 2017Tasted by: Prices:
