Pauly Lieserer Riesling Spatlese 2015
GermanyAxel Pauly is a shooting star in the Mosel. After time spent in New Zealand and California, he returned to Geisenheim for studies, and took over his family's wine estate in Lieser, Mosel. This is from Lieser's cool blue and grey slate soils, and is a highly concentrated, sweet, steely riesling, with dense and streaming pear cordial, roses, crystalline orange and ample stony minerality.
