East Kelowna Slopes, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis saignee pinot noir was grown by the Reimer family (ex-supplying Meyer Family Vineyards) and made by Matt Dumayne of Okanagan Crush Pad. It reminds me of some of the posher Provencal rosés (down to the fancy glass bottle with the vino-loc glass topper). This is glycerol-clad, lees-lined, with generous strawberry, pink peppercorns, richer pear and a flush of cinnamon on the finish. Acidity is seamless; elegant and impressive.Tasted: 30 October 2017Tasted by: Prices:

East Kelowna Slopes, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaMirabel Vineyards winery is owned by Doug and Dawn Reimer. Their rosé is a result of the saignée process used on their pinot noir by winemaker Matt Dumayne. The vineyard is planted to a mix of French Pommard and Dijon clones, all farmed sustainably and shaped by Provencal Rosé. Expect a light pink watermelon colour with fresh, sweet, creamy raspberry fruit and a dash of dried herbs. Perfect with spicy crab cakes or spicy tuna roll.Tasted: 01 October 2017Tasted by: Prices:
