Anthony Buchanan Pinot Blanc Lawson 2016
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOpen, perfumed green apple nose with flecks of butter and lees. The fruit is Naramata-based; one third is barrel fermented in new oakāthe remainder in stainless steel. Post fermentation it's aged in a mix of new and neutral oak for six months. Better balanced that last year, with a bit more richness to offset the fresh orchard/pear/grapefruit palate. A solid effort here that you could enjoy with fresh halibut.Tasted: 13 September 2017Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $24.90 | 750ml | winery direct, private wine shops |
