Prince Edward County, Ontario, CanadaA Canadian classic, Norm Hardie's County Chard shows the heights that chardonnay can reach in this country. The 2014 is a stunner, though at this point still tight as nails compared to how it will show ten years from now. Densely packed but linear and streamlined, with characteristic reduction, subtle truffle oil, savoury nut shells, marmalade and a layer of herbal, salt flecked lees.
