Pale pink in hue, reflective of a short time on skins before before pressing into tank and 90 days on fine lees. The final wine remains light in body but with a slight lees to blanket the palate. Savoie, FranceThe Domaine de la Rosiere Rosé is 100 percent gamay made from vines that are south-west facing over limestone-clay slopes. The grapes are picked ten days ahead of the rest of harvest, explaining the mouthwatering, piquant aromas and flavours. The skins are quickly pressed off to produce a pale, pink colour. The wine is not only dry but it gets to spend some 90 days on its fine lees adding texture and complexity. Red currants, citrus, strawberries, and minerality rule the day.
