Blue Grouse Quill Pinot Noir 2015

Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Cowichan Valley grapes, this is a warm, soft and somewhat soupy pinot noir. After destemming and a stainless ferment, it’s pressed to two-to-three year old barrels; 66% French and 34% American. Sour cherry, cherry jam, soya and red currant are striated with wood and finish with warm hickory. There a lot more, than less here, which masks the character of this coastal pinot noir.
