Kit's Coty Coeur de Cuvée 2013
EnglandKit's Coty are the new single-vineyard, super-premium wines released from Chapel Down, one of the UK's largest wineries. Kit’s Coty vineyard is 38 hectares of chalky soils in the North Downs of Kent. This barrel selection is the pricer of the two, priced at £100. The best blocks were wild fermented, matured on lees in French oak for seven months and with a dosage of 6 g/l. Rich and fuller on the palate, with nuttiness, dough, baked apple and some lemon curd, all lifted with a moderate but strong citrus undercurrent.
