California, United StatesSoftly sweet plum, blueberry and dusky violets flood the sticky, tar-lined, full palate of this cabernet sauvignon, petit verdot, merlot, cabernet franc blend, sourced from vineyards across Napa and Sonoma, and possibly, further beyond (the mystic of filmmaking / winemaking). One year in French oak has brought some structure to this, but overall it's a gummy, candied, sweeter affair.
