Radford Dale Thirst Gamay Noir 2015

Coastal Region, South AfricaSmoked plum, stone and a lightly charcoal-dusted wood colour Thirst Gamay, from vignerons Alex Dale and Jacques De Klerk of Radford Dale. Gamay is rarely seen in South Africa, with under 15 HA planted. As the name implies, Thirst is a quenching, lower alcohol, naturally-made wine, with minimal intervention, unfined and unfiltered. Soft and downy in the mouth, with a sapid, thorny and herbal note. Semi carbonic maceration keeps this light, refreshing and smashable, especially when chilled.Tasted: 31 May 2017Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
