Western Cape, South AfricaDried pear, apricot flesh, honeyed, light ash, pink flake salts in this low-interventionist, skin-contact and slightly cloudy grenache gris. Round and ripe, soft on the palate, and warm on the spicy finish, with an orange-scented eau de vie edge. Maanschijn is a garagiste label of young winemakers Paul Hoogwerf and Doug Mylrea.
