Cheverny, Touraine, Loire, FranceFrom Touraine's AC Cheverny, this is a family estate wine of sauvignon blanc, tipped with 15 percent chardonnay. Savvy's bracing herbaceousness is seen here, all steely lemon, lemon thistle, peppery greens and a slick of lees on the medium body. Chardonnay helps counter the heightened acidity, but this is all stony sauvignon led.
