Chateau d'Escales Déese Diane 2013
Côtes de Provence, Provence, Sud de France, FrancePlush black plum, raspberry, dark cherry, medicinal tinged, with dusky black perfume, musky spicing, violets. Warm and full bodied on the palate, with grippy fine tannins housing the plush, warming fruit. Tight, short and branchy on the finish at this stage. More overt, than polished, like D'Esclans rosés. This is a prime example why Provence bests in pink wines, not reds.Tasted: 22 May 2017Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:US | $30.00 | 750ml | estimated price on wine searcher |
