Western Cape, South AfricaThis is a reflection of what is in winemaker Pieter's brain, quite literally, as his Orbitofrontal Cortex was hooked up to sensors while Pieter was tasting all the different possible blending components of this wine. This blend was made based on his peak response tasting a range of blends over time. He must have liked a lot of this complex and textural white. Ripe and green fig, wild meadow grass, fine lees, spicing and highly layered with the blend of clairette, fernao pires, grenache blanc, semillon, verdelho and chenin blanc.
