Walser must sure know a lot, considering the myriad of wines he makes every year (from some 60+ vineyards around South Africa). Old vine chenin blanc from Darling makes up this wine, one that has spent time in older wood before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. Flax, hay is textured with a salty lemon, wild herbs and subtle fennel. Lemon acidity carries a kelp / saline note throughout its fluid streamlined, lees-lined form, to a salted almond finish.
