Black Hills Rose 2016
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaBright, full bodied, on the red side of pink, with sweet, ripe strawberry and raspberry and candied apple. There is a thread of citrus that keeps it fresh as it travels along the palate before a somewhat abrupt finish. The residual sugar is noticeable here, with a glycerol slick that coats the palate. A perfect wine for this summer's richer seafood or chicken salad. Chill well.Tasted: 23 May 2017Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Treve RingPrices:BC | $24.90 | 750ml | winery direct and private wine shops |
