Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalWe love the value, the bright fruit and the impressive dense sweet tannins. Look for a floral, black cherry, liquorice attack with similar juicy, fresh, plummy mineral fruit flavours. Rich but balanced, with both power and finesse. Lamb chops would be a fine match for dinner. We expect this wine will further improve in the bottle through 2020.
