Soleil Blanc de Lauriga 2015
CĂ´tes du Roussillon, Roussillon, Sud de France, FranceSurprisingly this 60/40 blend of old vine (30-years-old) grenache blanc and macabeu wine spends three to six months in new oak complete with regular battonage. The nose is a mix of bright peach and pear flavours with flecks of tropical fruit and ginger with more of the same on the palate. The oak sets the tone but there is a delicacy and some underlying mineral/orange notes that keeps it all fresh.Tasted: 17 February 2017Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $23.99 | 750ml | estimated retail |
