Scorpo Pinot Noir 2015
Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, AustraliaIn Merricks, Scorpo's vineyards are halfway between Port Phillip Bay and Westernport and sit on reddish brown clay/loam soils of volcanic origin. A touch of reduction on the nose blows off, though this young wine is still stunted in aromatics and palate. Red florals, mushroom, red currant and rhubarb lead to a stunted finish. Would like to try another bottle in future.Tasted: 09 February 2017Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:AUS | $43.00 | 750ml | AUS |
