Montalto Tuerong Block Pinot Noir 2015
Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, AustraliaFrom the warmest of Montalto's plantings, this is potent, herbal, ripe raspberry and dark plum throughout, with sour cherry and earthy stalkiness entering in on the palate. You can feel the clay soils in the weighted breadth of the palate. Kirsch lingers on the finish. Though there is a lot there, this wine is a bit stunted and clumsy at this phase; hopefully it will mature and grow into its frame.Tasted: 09 February 2017Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:AUS | $65.00 | 750ml | AUS |
