Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County, California, United StatesThis wine was good in 2012, but the 2013 is terrific. I love the savoury, ripe black fruit notes that jump from the glass. Full, rich, and impressive on the palate, the combination of red and black cherry fruit carries the day with smoky, bramble, cinnamon, cloves and black pepper.
