Cassini Cellars The Aristocrat Cabernet Sauvignon Limited Edition Milestone Vineyards 2013
Golden Mile Bench, Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaMilestone is a single-vineyard in the south Okanagan and the wine is 100 percent cabernet sauvignon. The attack is warm and oaky with caramel and vanilla obscuring the fruit at this point. The palate is rich and spicy with savoury black fruit flecked with pepper. As your palate adjusts there are flickers of red fruit and fine acidity but this bottle needs five years of rest to relax and open up. We would suggest that less is more but at Cassini it’s full speed ahead.
