Piedmont, ItalyThis one hundred percent nebbiolo first released in 1965 is very simply made, as in the fruit is destemmed and crushed and aged for two years in oak barrels of 25 and 50 hectolitres. Fresh, lively red fruits and licorice deliver a subtle message of terroir with harmony and elegance. There is a tug of tannin to remind us this will age into 2025.
