North Coast Region, California, United StatesThis wine surprised us a bit. The nose is a mix of tropical scents and citrus that carry onto the palate. It could be the four percent sémillon that has given this wine a slightly different look. Mostly dry, look for tangerine, lime rind, melon flavours with just enough acidity to keep it all clean. Seafood works here as would almost any vegetarian dish. Just over a quarter of this wine was fermented in wood to add a bit of texture and body to the mix.
