Cousiño Macul Antiguas Reservas Cabernet Sauvignon 2013
Valle del Maipo, Region del Valle Central, ChileReserva Antiguas is an old Chilean label that dates to 1927. The wine has been thankfully modernized, and while it still shows some of that menthol, cedar, bay leaf character on the nose there is more cherry fruit and spice in the back end. The palate is cleaner and fresher with black cherry fruit and soft tannins sprinkled with cedar and spice.
