Bottega Prosecco Casa Bottega NV

Treviso, Verona, Veneto, ItalyGrown in the Province of Treviso (Veneto) using the glera grape. The fruit is generally hand picked from mid-September, grapes are pressed in the vineyard and then vinified. Once clarified the juice goes into special steel containers, where it is fermented with the addition of selected yeasts in Charmat method at 14° C for nearly 40 days. Over this period, carbon dioxide is released naturally giving the Prosecco its sparkle. The colour is pale, with flecks of dried straw. The nose is fruity with big acacia notes, white fruits and a dusting of citrus. Nice delicate balance and tension throughout. A classic aperitif, it works with many appetizers, fish and poultry.Tasted: 16 January 2017Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
