Knights Valley, Sonoma County, California, United StatesA great vintage in northern California didn’t miss Knights Valley, home of the robust, rich, red cabernet. There’s a rush of black fruit and spices here with a mineral undercurrent that neutralizes the jammy fruit and intense clove notes. A tug of grip, otherwise the tannins have been well managed.
