Champagne Amour de Deutz Rosé 2006
Champagne, FranceVery fine and delicate, yet powerful and structured, with pristine flow from first scent through lingering finish. Very floral, with subtle cherry, strawberry and a light, appealling herbal pink pepper notes, bound by filigreed fine tannins on the taut frame. The blend is 55% Pinot Noir (from Aÿ, Verzenay and Bouzy) and 45% Chardonnay (from Avize, Chouilly and Villers-Marmery). The lightness of touch is highly impressive.
