Marche, ItalyThis is verdicchio from the mountains of Matelica, grown organically since 1995. Whole bunch pressed before ferment and aging in stainless steel, this bright, lighter white is lined with herbal lees. Key lime, tight white peach, green fig and youthful pear is washed with stones and bristled with mountain acidity. A rinse of lime lingers on the finish.
