JoieFarm En Famille Reserve Pinot Noir 2014

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAlluring dark cherry, perfumed florals and five spice open this elegantly-styled pinot noir and stream through to its lingering finish. An earthy sappiness lends a weighty core, though acidity deftly keeps this fresh. Tannins are ripe, fine and lightly sticky, textured with a savoury desert sage and cedar spicing in the back end. A mix of six clones across two vineyards, one in Naramata and one in Summerland, it spent one year in barrel. Flavourful and well suited to game birds or pork tenderloin, and will suit a few years in the cellar.Tasted: 14 October 2016Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Treve RingPrices:
