Jean-Paul Brun Le Ronsay Beaujolais 2015

Beaujolais, Burgundy, FranceAlluring nose of rock rose, youthful morello cherry open this light-boded gamay, from Le Ronsay vineyard (ex-labelled Cuvee Premiere). Young vines make up this label, though made to the same non-interventionist standards as legendary J-P Brun's more serious wines. Honest, authentic and young, this is a delight to drink, with light, membrane-fine tannins holding in the delicate subtle raspberry, cherry, florals and fine white pepper notes. A slight nibble of pepper on the finish encourages another glass, and another, and another. Easy, interesting and most important - authentic (a rare combination).Tasted: 20 October 2016Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
