Montalcino, Siena, Tuscany, ItalyMedium bodied, with sun-warmed cherry, perfumed raspberry, strawberries and light leather on a young core, with light tannins penning all in. The finish is blunted and bitter, making me wonder if the bottle is faulted, since this wine has shown much more life in previous vintages, though no discernible faults apparent.
