Terravista Viognier 2015
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis viognier is Naramata meets Condrieu, displaying rich, confident form throughout its expansive, creamy palate. Ripe nectarine and apricot is built on a cushioned bed of lees, with perfumed mandarin and peach fuzz seasoning and a warm, herbal gingersnap and anise spicing. A swell of juicy acidity aptly handles the weight, while a riff of bitter pit counters the sun-ripe sweetness. Best viognier I've tasted from Canada? You bet. Drinking beautifully now, but will hold for short term cellaring.Tasted: 24 August 2016Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:BC | $18.90 | 750ml | winery direct, private wine shops |
