Roche Pinot Noir 2014
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSmoky red fruit aromas with a touch of reduction greet you on the nose. The palate is juicy and fresh with beautiful dark cherry, a bit of spice and a long finish. Still youthful with some oak shielding the wine but there is an abundance of lively fruit that carries the day and just enough acidity underneath to keep it fresh through the finish. Fine balance. This needs another 18 months or so in bottle to settle out and really start to sing but you could try it now with duck confit or roasted turkey. Promising at this point.Tasted: 26 September 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $49.00 | 750ml | Legacy Wines |
