Luis Felipe Edwards Pinot Noir Reserva 2013
Maule, Valle del Claro, Valle del Maule, Region del Valle Central, ChileThe LFE ‘Reserva’ pinot noir is made in a fruit forward style for early consumption. The nose is a pleasant, earthy, black cherry, mushroom affair with real pinot character. The attack is juicy with mouthfeel and texture gained through ageing in French and American oak for 6 to 8 months. Fairly bright, this is a casual mid-week style pinot for light salmon or chicken dishes. There continues to be a touch of reduction under screw cap, but you can dismiss with a quick splash decant. Well balanced and solid value.Tasted: 26 September 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:QC | $13.00 | 750ml |
