Alsace, FranceThe Cave Vinicole de Hunawihr was the first cooperative in Alsace. There is a freshness and acidity that underpins this very ripe gewürztraminer. Apricots, yellow fruits and rose petals spill onto the palate before finishing with peach, honey and plenty of residual sugar. Spicy dishes, even barbecue, will work here as will a savoury bird.
