Nautilus Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2014
Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandCelebrating its 30th vintage in 2014, and this wine is going strong as ever. Big, assertive and vibrant passionfruit, papaya and tangerine, with hedgerow and spring green vegetable underneath. Crunchy acidity rides a swell of juiciness to a brisk, warm finish. Two percent of this wine underwent barrel fermentation, with the rest in stainless with yeasts selected to maximize fruitiness. The whole spent three months in contact with the lees to bumper the palate.
