Lock and Worth Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2015

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom 17-old-year old vines and a gravelled site in Oliver comes this 77/23 sauvignon blanc/semillon blend. One third whole cluster pressed, this spends time in neutral French oak before being gently filtered. Medicinal herbs, meadow grass, lemon thistle, hay and vibrant citrus acidity stream through the lees-lined palate, tighter and more linear than the 2014. The finish carries a slight grippy, greengage and verbena riff. This will build honeyed weight with cellar time, but it's drinking beautifully now in the exuberance of youth.Tasted: 23 August 2016Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
