Little Farm Winery Rosé 2015

Cawston, Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAlways impressive, this cabernet franc rosé doesn't disappoint in 2015. Young, juicy and fresh now, past vintages indicate this single vineyard cabernet franc will age well with short term cellaring. If you can wait, that is - this is drinking beautifully now, with salted wild strawberries, subtle cured meats, fresh sage and flake salt. Dried orange peel lingers on the finish. Half the grapes were whole cluster pressed and the rest foot-trodden and left on the skins 4-7 hours before a gentle pressing into neutral barrels and stainless steel where it rested on the lees for six months.Tasted: 01 August 2016Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
