Howling Bluff Summa Quies Rosé 2015
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaIt’s year two for the Summa Quies Rosé made from all three major blocks of pinot noir planted to clones 667, 777 and 115. The grapes were harvested separately from the dry red pinot noir and pressed off in stages of 24 and 48 hours. The nose is sweet and matches the palate but there is some balance here. Look for notes of strawberries, earth and dried herbs with a soft sweet raspberry/red currant finish.
