Rueda, Castilla-Leon, SpainBitter melon, green and yellow apples and Asian pear throughout this Albariño from northern Spain. Crunchy acidity is tempered by a medium bodied, weighted lees-lined palate. Six hours of skin contact adds to the complexities on the palate. Dusty stones and bitter almonds linger on the finish.
