Michel Delhommeau Clos Armand Vieille Vigne Muscadet Sèvre et Maine 2011
Muscadet, Pays Nantais, Loire, FranceHeady earthy lees leads to a mineral-led, streamlined and subtle palate. Mild wildflower honey and a sheen of lanolin lines the mouth and weighs the palate, but this still finishes impressively light in body, with reams of stony complexity. Michel and Nathalie Delhommeau have 28 hectares of vineyards planted predominantly on gabbro soils (rock formed from molten lava).Tasted: 26 July 2016Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:USA | $25.00 | 750ml |
