Glaetzer Anaperenna 2012
Ebenezer, Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaThe 2012 Anaperenna is an 82/18 mix of shiraz/ cabernet sauvignon from approximately 70-year old vines, and opens with that warm, rich, inviting Barossa Valley (Ebenezer) nose of black fruits and brown spices. The attack is glossy smooth with pure dark berry fruit and enough acidity and tannin to balance the wine perfectly in the finish. Complex and brooding. You could drink this now or cellar it another five to seven years. Easily one of the best modern vintages in Barossa and a top flight Anaperenna.Tasted: 14 July 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $80.00 | 750ml | private wine shops |
