Mendoza, ArgentinaThis perfumed, plush and potent dark fruited malbec is from higher altitude vineyards in the foothills of the Andes, and spends eight months in 70/30 French/American oak. Ample sweet oak evident here, framing dense and super ripe blackcurrant, earthy cassis, dusty stones and smoked branch flavours. The finish is clipped with a dusty and granular cocoa grip.
