Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaHerbal and twined black cherry, ink, vanilla and strident cedar lead this full bodied meritage, a blend of malbec, cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc. Highly extracted and ripe, with sticky tannins, dense blackberry, potent violets, spicy cloves and vanilla, all scented with a dusty warm sage and pine herbaceousness. Twenty-two months in French oak and a warm southern Okanagan climate certainly have made their statement here.
