Anthony Buchanan Wines Pinot Blanc 2015
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPerfumed apple, cherry blossoms and a soapy note opens this pinot blanc, part of the initial release from Anthony Buchanan Wines. From Naramata's long-established Zeller Vineyards, this was one third barrel fermented in new oak, with the remainder in stainless steel. When fermentation was complete, the wine was racked into new and neutral barrels for six months. The lean, (almost too) clean palate carries the orchard fruits along with white grapefruit, shy florals and a rise of citrus acidity. A nice first effort from this label.Tasted: 07 June 2016Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:BC | $17.00 | 750ml | private wine shops |
